Our Reading Range
Every Child's Entitlement.
This is the Three Bridges reading range - the books that every child in our school will hear read aloud from cover to cover.
Some of them are instructional texts, to be studied as part of our English program.
Some of them are chosen for their messages and are part of our PSHE progression.
Some of them are pure pleasure.
We’ve developed this spine to have range in terms of language, structure, representation, tone, era... a lot was discussed in developing this list.
But that’s not all. We’ve left space for teachers’ choice and student suggestions, so that every year, in every class, the people in the room have space to choose something extra, just for them.
