Operation Encompass
Three Bridges has been given the opportunity to take part in a project that will run jointly between schools and the Metropolitan Police Service. This project is known as Operation Encompass.
Operation Encompass is a notification system whereby the school is informed that there has been a police attended domestic incident that has occurred where there is a child (under 18) in the family. This will ordinarily be done by the start of the next school day.

This information is given in strict confidence to a specially trained member of the school staff, known as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). The DSL will use the information that has been shared, in confidence, to ensure the wellbeing of the child. The DSL team at 3B are Ms Brown, Mrs Valerio, Mrs McGeoghan, Mr O'Connell and Dr. Hannay.
