Operation Encompass
Operation Encompass is a notification system whereby the school is informed that there has been a police attended domestic incident that has occurred where there is a child (under 18) in the family. This will ordinarily be done by the start of the next school day.
This information is given in strict confidence to a specially trained member of the school staff, known as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). The DSL will use the information that has been shared, in confidence, to ensure the wellbeing of the child. The Safeguarding Team at 3B are Mrs Valerio, Mr O'Connell, Miss Ibrahim, Mrs Hunt, Mrs Esmailjee, Miss Coakely-Hanan, Ms Sherwin and Mrs Williams.
