Three Bridges

Good Afternoon Parents & Carers

As I am certain many of you have heard, we have been directed to close the school for the majority of pupils from Monday 23 March 2020. We will be providing a child care provision for a very limited number of pupils and will be deploying staff to other high need areas in the Ealing Borough. We are communicating with them individually.

We recognise this as a very challenging time for everyone in our community and nation. One of the hardest things for us will be to say ‘see you soon’ to your children and family today. A school was not designed to be empty.

During the closure, there will be a skeleton staff in operation at the school and the DoJo will be our main point of communication. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with teachers and school staff if you have any questions or need some support or advice. We are here for you.

We do not know how long the school will be closed, however many indicators are pointing towards a 12 week timeline. This could be shorter or longer we are uncertain at this point. All SATs, phonics screeners, times table tests and national exams have been cancelled.

There is nothing more important in the coming months than your family and loved ones. Please take care of yourselves and take care of each other. This is not the end not the end of our time together, not the end of Three Bridges, hopefully not the end of the year, and definitely not the end of our community and value of FAMILY. This is the beginning the beginning of a new way of working, supporting and caring for one another. It is the beginning of a new way of life.

We will look back on the coming months as the times that changed the social fabric of our school and community forever a time that taught us the true meaning of family, community, collaboration and connectedness. While we will struggle and things will be difficult we will come out the other side stronger.

Thank you for your continued support, care and love for the school, staff, children and community.
I look forward to welcoming everyone back as soon as possible.
